After the initial tooling investment, the process is highlyautomated, leading to very low per-part costs at highproduction volumes. It consolidates multiple parts into one,reducing assembly costs

PM can produce parts with intricate shapes (multi-level gearscomplex contours, undercuts) directly from the mold, minimizingor eliminating secondary machining. This allows for designreedom unattainable with many other processes
